My Story
Hi! My name is Janna Torontali and I’m a Licensed Acupuncturist/herbologist. I received a Bachelor of Health Science as well as a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and am certified by the NCCAOM. My training includes acupuncture, electrical stimulation acupuncture, TENS, Chinese herbology, internal medicine, cupping therapy (fixed, sliding, flash), moxibustion, tuina and gua sha. My specialties include mental health, neurological disorders, insomnia, migraines, autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, women’s health, gastrointestinal disorders, musculoskeletal disorders and cosmetic acupuncture.
Before Oriental Medicine, I studied Creative Writing & Linguistics. I also play guitar, bass, and piano. Hiking and being immersed in nature brings me peace. I understand the human need to connect and feel heard. I believe in the mind-body-spirit connection and how deeply emotional and physical imbalances are inter-related. It’s my privilege to help people heal.
I have always been intrigued by the wonders of alternative medicine and the power of holistic healing. I was particularly drawn to the ancient practice of acupuncture, which had helped countless people find relief from pain and achieve overall well-being.
As I embarked on my own personal healing journey, I experienced the transformative effects of acupuncture firsthand. The experience ignited a deep desire to share this gift with others and make a positive impact on people's lives. However, I soon realized that accessibility to acupuncture was a challenge for many individuals, especially those with busy schedules or limited mobility.
Inspired by the vision of bringing acupuncture directly to people's doorsteps, I decided to start her own mobile acupuncture business. I envisioned a service that would eliminate the barriers of time and transportation, providing convenience and comfort for those seeking acupuncture treatments. With unwavering determination, I set out to turn my dream into reality.
